Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty born October 1st, 1995 in Berkeley California. She is an actress of renown who has appeared on Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006,) and Chrissie mayr's Content House.

Asia Argento was raised in Rome by a film-maker and an actor family. Both professions she pursued her own. She made her debut when she was just nine years old in the film of Sergio Citti, Sogni e bisogni (1985). In 1988 she had the lead role in Cristina Comencini's first film, Zoo (1988), and was part of the cast of The Church (1989), directed by Michele Soavi. She played Nanni Moretti's daughter in the next season for Red Wood Pigeon (also directed Moretti) (1989). It was with Close Friends (1992), written and directed by Michele Placido, that Asia's career truly took off. she was able to transition from portraying very young girls, to more mature, complex role. Cannes International Film Festival was a huge movie's success. Trauma (1996) as well as The Stendhal Syndrome are other films she has worked on with her famous father. The Phantom of the Opera is her third film that she has made alongside her father, the others being Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome. Asia's deeply absorbed and aggressive style of acting was well-used in Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato a nozzeIn 1993 she co-starred in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista where she played Arianna a physically handicapped girl--an intricate, difficult role that won it an award from David di Donatello award for the best actress . She also had a featured performance in the international ensemble of Queen Margot which was directed by Patrice Chereau. In 1995, her collaboration together with Michel Piccoli, in Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion won her yet another award from David di Donatello and Grolla di Oro. In 1994 Asia began filmmaking and made two film shorts: Prospettive In 1996, she directed a documentary on her father. In 1998, one on legendary director Abel Ferrara, Abel/Asia (1998), which was awarded an award at the Rome Film Festival. Asia made her debut as a feature-length director with Scarlet Diva (2000). In this film, she played the role of a lead actor and also wrote the screenplay. In May 2000, the film was released both in Italy and across the world. The film was released on Brooklyn, New York it was awarded an award at the Williamsburg film festival. Anna Lou was born in 2001 after she directed some music videos. She was a part of Jean-Marc Barr's performance in The Red Siren, directed by Olivier Megaton. In 2003 she was in Vin Diesel and Rob Cohen's action-thriller. Asian's short stories have been featured in prestigious publications.
